Parents and coaches please note that game and practice schedules are not created by North West Zone Hockey; Hockey Edmonton creates all practice schedules for minor hockey teams in Edmonton and the EFHL creates the game schedule for all EFHL games.

EMHA/HE ice can sold, traded or given away to any EFHL team. Ice that a NWZHA team cannot use must be sold, traded or given out. If a team cannot make a practice because of a conflict not due to Hockey Edmonton/ EFHL; it  will not be replaced.

Hockey Edmonton Ice Rentals:

When booking ice with Hockey Edmonton, these instructions MUST BE USED to ensure you get the MINOR HOCKEY RATE of $195/hour (approx. $125 savings off the adult rate)

THIS ICE IS NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE BOOKED.

​City of Edmonton Ice Bookings:

Find the booking on City of Edmonton arena booking availability page CITY ICE BOOKINGS AVAILIBILITY

Then EMAIL  ice@nwzhockey.ca the Ice Slot(s) you would like to book. Please provide the following information:

• Team Number (WMXXX)
• Date
• Start and finish times; Include AM or PM or use 24 hour clock
• Arena (Include A or B if there is more than one ice surface)

The ice will then be submitted for booking and once confirmed you will get an email confirmation and invoice.

Please make sure you have the correct dates, arena and times – once these bookings are requested they CANNOT be returned – you can only email me and we can list for sale.

Canadian Athletic Club (CAC) Ice Bookings

Please follow the CAC Ice booking instructions.

Outdoor Rink Ice Bookings -

Contact Community leagues to book outdoor ice. Some possible options are:
