What is a Team Manager?

A Team Manager is a vital volunteer who helps keep the team organized. While coaches focus on player development and the game, Team Managers handle many of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that keep the season running efficiently. Managers are responsible for the administrative aspects such as:

  • Coordinating team events
  • Communicating important information to families
  • Organizing parent volunteers to assist with volunteer roles such as Treasurer, fundraising, jersey parents, timekeepers, tournament coordinator ect.
  • Organizing tournaments, exhibition games, and travel details
  • Working with the treasurer to establish the team budget
  • Supporting coaches with administrative tasks
  • Helping create a positive and organized team environment

At NWZ, Team Managers are an essential part of every team's success. Their dedication, organization, and commitment help create a positive experience for players, coaches, and families throughout the hockey season.
