What is a Team Manager?
A Team Manager is a vital volunteer who helps keep the team organized. While coaches focus on player development and the game, Team Managers handle many of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that keep the season running efficiently. Managers are responsible for the administrative aspects such as:
- Coordinating team events
- Communicating important information to families
- Organizing parent volunteers to assist with volunteer roles such as Treasurer, fundraising, jersey parents, timekeepers, tournament coordinator ect.
- Organizing tournaments, exhibition games, and travel details
- Working with the treasurer to establish the team budget
- Supporting coaches with administrative tasks
- Helping create a positive and organized team environment
At NWZ, Team Managers are an essential part of every team's success. Their dedication, organization, and commitment help create a positive experience for players, coaches, and families throughout the hockey season.
